Worried your buddy is a bit of a rascal? Good.

That means they’ve got personality, and that’s exactly what I want to photograph. Most of the animals I work with aren’t perfectly trained models (although I can help them look like it for a few critical shutter snaps). They run, bark, wiggle, roll, and sometimes straight-up ignore us. That’s normal. That’s good. That’s them. And I’ll capture images that feel like who they are.
